In this innovative and interactive course, practitioners will learn how to reconstruct straightforward implants. We will teach the course over six weeks through 10 modules on our dedicated online learning platform, which includes hands-on practical's on models.

This course provides comprehensive training in implant treatment planning, impression methods, choosing abutments and crowns, occlusion, lab communication, maintenance and marketing approaches.

Participants will engage in hands-on practical's on models, group discussions with peers, and video lectures on our Online Academy.

Academy tutors will be on hand to answer questions, provide insight and feedback where appropriate, and get you started on your implant journey. We have designed the course to be highly flexible, enabling delegates to fit it around their daily schedules and complete the work at a time that suits them best.

Modules

The course spans six weeks, beginning with an introductory week and concluding with a final week dedicated to the marketing project and the completion of any unfinished content. In between, there are four weeks during which you will be required to consume a range of content and complete various projects to complement the theory-based learning.

Please note that you can complete the course alongside your work and domestic commitments.

There are only two live sessions: a Zoom call on the first Monday of the course from 7 pm to 8 pm and a second Zoom call on the final Thursday of the course.

Week 1: 6th October

Module 1: Introductory Week and Onboarding.

Monday: Official start of the course live Zoom session with Andy Legg at 7:00 pm.

Week 2: 13th October

Module 2: Overview of Implant Planning.

Module 3: When the patient returns from having implant surgery.

Week 3: 20th October

Module 4: Implant Impression Techniques.

Module 5: Screw retained vs Cement retained- abutment and crown choice.

Week 4: 27th October

Module 6: Laboratory communication.

Module 7: Implant Crown Fit.

Week 5: 3rd November

Module 8: Occlusion related to implant restorations.

Module 9: Implant crown maintenance.

Week 6: 10th November

Module 10: Marketing Implant Treatments.

Thursday: Live Zoom session at 7:00 pm to close the course.
